چکیده
<p><strong>Background:</strong> In the genetic skin blistering disorder dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa recurrent blisters and erosions on mechanically stressed areas, as hands, result in subsequent scarring development of pseudosyndactylies contractures. its most severe form, all fingers are constrained into a fist scarred (“mitten-hand”-deformity). No causative therapy exists only surgical release is possible. Hereby, large defects inevitable; lack healthy autologous for grafting remains difficult challenge.</p><p><strong>Methods:</strong> We propose new technique: It adopts treatment strategy from extent burns consists combination autogenic allogenic grafting.</p><p><strong>Results:</strong> present beneficial outcome 18 mitten hand deformities treated with this technique. patients, initial functional was improved. Nearly patients got considerably widened grip span durable conditions post-operatively. Mean follow-up 3 years. Typically, recurrence occurred 6 months to 2 years after operation.</p><p><strong>Conclusions:</strong> This first report use autogenous pinch grafts (parental) overlay EB. provides undisturbed wound healing under “biological dressing”, furthermore, temporary take parental visible. Defects were permanently covered increased mechanical stability, function improved remarkably. However, long term showed beginning comparable rates described literature.</p>

Multicentre consensus recommendations for skin care in inherited epidermolysis bullosa
BACKGROUND Inherited epidermolysis bullosa (EB) comprises a highly heterogeneous group of rare diseases characterized by fragility and blistering of skin and mucous membranes. Clinical features combined with immunofluorescence antigen mapping and/or electron microscopy examination of a skin biopsy allow to define the EB type and subtype. Molecular diagnosis is nowadays feasible in all EB subtyp...
متن کاملLimited Hand Surgery in Epidermolysis Bullosa
Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is the name given to a group of rare congenital diseases with similar clinical symptoms. Their common feature is the susceptibility of the epithelia and skin to injury. Even minor shear forces from the sideways stretching of the skin contribute to epidermal tearing with blister formation. These blisters turn into wounds. In the most severe forms of the disease, wounds...
متن کاملTreatment of severe hand deformities caused by epidermolysis bullosa.
Little research has been done regarding the treatment of severe hand deformities caused by epidermolysis bullosa. A 14-year-old boy was diagnosed with congenital epidermolysis bullosa. He was treated in our hospital several times, but the pathogenetic condition worsened. On examination, both hands were clenched fists and had scar formation. Skin fusion was observed between the 5 fingers. Nails ...

Preservation of living tissue and organs are very important to ensure successful transplantation. The storage of living tissue, from the time of removal of the donor tissue until transplantation, is one of the most important factors for successful tissue transplantation. The purpose of living tissue storage is to maintain the viability of the mammalian cells, and various methods have been devel...
متن کاملEpidermolysis bullosa and chronic wounds: a model for wound bed preparation of fragile skin.
Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is a group of inherited diseases with 4 subtypes. This disorder is a model for fragile skin, with some affected individuals having chronic, difficult-to-heal wounds. The care of wounds in people with EB can be guided by the Wound Bed Preparation paradigm. The treatment of chronic EB wounds is outlined with a quick reference guide of 12 consensus recommendations create...
